title pic Imagine Finding Unused Vintage Store Stock Clothing – Vintage Clothing Fashion Dream Come True

Posted by admin on May 1, 2010

While most of us with the passion for vintage clothing are buyers, and not sellers, either type of person would be thrilled to be as fortunate as Bali Rakhra. He is a 35 year old living in Glasgow Scotland (which, by the way, I used to visit often when I lived in Scotland in the early 90’s). Glasgow is a fantastic town, a very large metropolis type of city in Scotland.

It turns out the Bali’s dad owned a fashion store in the 70’s, and when he closed the store in the early 80’s he stored about 10,000 items of vintage unworn pieces in a warehouse in Glasgow. This treasure trove includes vintage Levi’s, other vintage denim, and so much more!! These pieces were not touched for years, and they are in pristine condition due to the careful packing done so many years ago. People are already saying they are worth up to $420,000.00 plus.

Imagine!

Most of the items are high fashion pieces, so they are still desired today. Mr. Rakhra is going to sell most of the clothing on his own website that he is developing. He is also selling some in lots to retailers and experimenting with taking the product on the road to various fairs around the UK. How amazing would it be to be involved in this process?

Kudos to you Mr. Bali Rakhra…..and we hope you are telling your Dad a big THANK YOU!
