Mens Vintage Clothing Fashion Grows In Popularity

Do you know a man that likes to wear vintage clothes?  If so, he is as clever as you are – he knows that vintage clothing makes you different from everyone else.  It adds a personality to your wardrobe and heck, it is just fun!

Men tend to also like the nostalgia of wearing vintage.  I guess women do as well, but I tend to think men think more about it.  Gazing back in time, they think back to the men that wore the clothes before them….were they successful, or smart or kind?  We know they were stylish, that is certain!

Just because a man wears vintage, doesn’t mean he does it to be thrifty either.  Even though they save cash on their wardrobe versus shopping at the mall, they need the confidence to pull it off.  You have to be a bit daring to wear vintage, especially when you first start off.  Men who have this quality are fascinating!

But where can men get good vintage clothing?  Ah, just like us dames they need to scour for it.  Thrift stores, yard sales and flea markets are good spots sometimes.  I’ve even known guys that shop in their Grandpa’s closets. Pretty cool–and stylish. With the addition of the Internet, it is now much simpler to find vintage clothing for men and women.  There are tons of boutique sites out there that offer vintage clothing or vintage looking clothing (retro).  I tend to like to shop eBay for vintage clothing; in my experience most of what I see on Amazon is retro clothing (new, made to look old).   But don’t be afraid to mix and match either; a vintage shirt and a modern day pant work well together as a classic everyday outfit.
